If you require psychological assessments for yourself or your child, please contact us and our registered psychologist can talk about which assessments are required and, what the fees will amount to. There is no fee for this initial phone consultation.

Our psychologist is experienced in cognitive, behavioural and learning assessments of children, adults and adolescents e.g. Autism, ADHD & Specific Learning Difficulties (Dyslexia). Comprehensive and personalised written reports and diagnoses (where applicable), are given as part of the assessment process.

We accept self-referrals or referrals from doctors, Paediatricians, Psychiatrists, schools and the NDIS.

All assessments can be undertaken for both children and adults.

Types of Assessments

Consists of:
A 50-60min in-person familiarisation session for information gathering, gaining clarification regarding the need for assessment and talking through the testing process
A two hour in-person Cognitive (IQ) assessment - types of tests conducted may be the WISC, the WAIS or the Stanford Binet
Adaptative functioning tests might also be required such as the ABAS or the Vineland to determine an intellectual disability
Results interpretation, information collation and report writing completed by the psychologist
If necessary - contacting teachers, completing questionnaires, follow up phone calls
A 50-60 minute feedback session to explain the results, view the report and provide recommendations

Indicative Fee: $1,250* (cognitive only)
Indicative Fee: $1,650* (with a ABAS or Vineland)

Consists of:
A 50-60min in-person familiarisation session for information gathering, gaining clarification regarding the need for assessment and talking through the testing process
A 1 hour in-person ADHD assessment without IQ test or a 3 hour in-person ADHD assessment with IQ test - types of tests conducted may be the Conners or the vanderBilt
Results interpretation, information collation and report writing completed by the psychologist
If necessary - contacting teachers, completing questionnaires, follow up phone calls
A 50-60 minute feedback session to explain the results, view the report and provide recommendations

Indicative Fee: $950* (without IQ test) or $1,950* (with IQ test)

Consists of:
A 50-60min in-person familiarisation session for information gathering, gaining clarification regarding the need for assessment and talking through the testing process
A 2 hour in-person assessment - either an Autism screener test may be used such as the ASRS or an Autism Comprehensive test may be used such as the ADOS
Results interpretation, information collation and report writing completed by the psychologist
If necessary - contacting teachers, completing questionnaires, follow up phone calls
A 50-60 minute feedback session to explain the results, view the report and provide recommendations

Indicative Fee: Autism Comprehensive - $1,400* (ADOS with report)
Indicative Fee: $950* (with report if prior assessments have been undertaken from OT, Speech, Paediatricians or other Allied Health providers).

A 50-60min in-person familiarisation session for information gathering, gaining clarification regarding the need for assessment and talking through the testing process
A 3-4 hour in-person Learning assessment - types of tests conducted may be the WIAT, WISC or YARC
Results interpretation, information collation and report writing completed by the psychologist
If necessary - contacting teachers, completing questionnaires, follow up phone calls
A 50-60 minute feedback session to explain the results, view the report and provide recommendations

Indicative Fee: $1,950*
*Fees vary depending on your specific requirements and what other assessments or information can be provided.

How to Book & Pay for An Assessment

Please contact our reception to schedule your assessment. When booking in an assessment - we typically book in 3 appointments: familiarisation session (1 hour), an assessment session (2-4 hours depending) and a feedback session (1 hour).

As our assessments are tailored to meet the needs of each individual, fees may vary. Thus, we encourage you to schedule a free initial chat to discuss your specific situation and assessment needs.

A deposit of $225 is required for all assessments, payable at the first familiarisation session, and will be applied towards the full assessment fee. Once the assessment and reporting are completed, you can choose to pay the invoice in a lump sum or set up a weekly/fortnightly payment plan, whichever works best. This can be arranged with our reception team.
